Lisa was admitted to practice in Alabama in 1985. After a clerkship with a federal judge, private law practice and working as an Assistant City Attorney for the City of Birmingham, she came to the Office of Counsel in 1997. Lisa defends lawsuits brought against the Board of Trustees and its employees, mostly in the area of employment discrimination. She also provides a variety of other legal service and advice to UAB administration.
