George “Sandy” Gordon joined the UA Office of Counsel in 1982. He was named University Counsel in 2000. During his tenure with the Office of Counsel, Sandy has provided legal representation and advising in a variety of areas, including Intercollegiate Athletics and NCAA issues; Alabama Board of Adjustment claims and EEOC matters; public record requests, and copyright and trademark issues.
