UA System Office employees receive eight designated holidays each year as follows:
New Year’s Day
Martin Luther King Day
Independence Day
Labor Day
Thanksgiving Day
Friday following Thanksgiving
Christmas Eve
Christmas Day
Normally, if a holiday falls on a Saturday, it shall be observed on the previous Friday. If it falls on a Sunday, it shall be observed on the following Monday.
